Strengthening Tradition Culture & Language in the People................ Article No. 11

Greetings to my highly valued subscriber [only 1 at the moment but I am all about the quality before quantity so I am off to an auspicious start- a very high quality subscriber is what I am trying to say!] & greetings to any/all readers who accidentally arrived here via typo [apparently]… welcome, today I am posting a PUBLIC GOOD/ SERVICE Article that will not count towards the TWO Articles due this month [May 15th & May 29th 2021]. I promised to do this as a follow up to a previous PUBLIC GOOD/ SERVICE Article published May 30 2021 in the UNCENSORED USA Series 003: The Censored Brando Speech, LINK HERE:

Article No. 11 of my SubStack Newsletter The American Republic Re-Loaded will be updated throughout the life of the newsletter seeing as it is my thoughts on how the Native American People can strengthen their traditions, culture & language: aka my GAMEPLAN for accomplishing this excellent purpose!

So, here we go on my first ideas to help the Native American People that I believe are consistent with Russell Means & MY BOTH agreeing that LANGUAGE is central to the problem to be solved...

The following things I believe should be implemented to help preserve, promote & inculcate respect for the American Native Peoples tradition culture & language:

1. Organize Traditional Sports- Lacrosse etc & set up leagues inter tribe, confederations reservations with prizes for all & especially for finishers... some skill based type sports celebration of skill sets:

archery, cooking traditional food fairs, carving, navigation with beads & natural markers... Divisions among these all age groups in competition is a great way to also re-learn & promote language.

If each tribe & each rez adopted a platform based upon some of these things that are universal in characteristic then a NATIONAL BODY could oversee coordinating these competitive games & teaching the skills to make the equipment used & even sell to the American General public… such as custom carved Lacrosse sticks that would probably generate a good revenue stream since that is a popular sport throughout the country.

There is a National Body I believe that participates/organizes the Native American Olympics & it might be worth considering expanding the role of that body to the GENERAL NATIONAL Native American Sporting & Game oversight. The goal would be to start with teaching children the crafts of making the equipment & then using the equipment in competitive local “leagues” with finalists moving on the state/tribe… then national competition. In the classes & during the sport speaking in the native language of the tribe would be encouraged & can be facilitated by integrating craft-making as a credit in the local school curriculum. This could be something that appeals to all age groups & helps with general health & fitness & then would tie in with nutrition & native traditional hunting, foodstuffs, & cooking.

I would love to see the day when instead of tuning into the corrupt sports leagues we have presently in America we could, instead of a Superbowl, watch the NATIONAL NATIVE AMERICAN FINALS [NNAF] in various sports & even have Native American Collegiate Vs NON Native American Collegiate competition in the sports well established in all communities nationally- like Lacrosse.

2. Language: Native American Language Schools [NALS] should be built & teachers should be compensated & trained so that at least 1/2 the school day is full immersion in that particular tribes language: book; 'poetry/song'; prizes for all ages should be available & publishing houses for news & promotion of language should be started... this is good work & will allow creativity & reward as the language is promoted. Also creates jobs opportunities & develops skills.

A Daily National Native American Newspaper that reports from each rez & tribe on local news that is available for all, is a good way to learn language & share experiences & happenings among the Native American Community [NAC]. This is a good way to network for goods, supplies, products, housing, jobs etc

3. There should be a NATIONAL GATHERING OF [all] THE TRIBES [and confederations] NGOT WEEK in which reps of each tribe can come together, with a fair to sell, trade, & share culture, language, & experiences... this should be held in concert with actual music, creative writing, & food fairs- open to all the public to support & learn about the Native American people & thus increase support & foster mutual appreciation.

4. There should also be a separate NATIONAL GATHERING OF [all] THE TRIBES [and confederations] as a 'political', cultural, linguistic evaluation & oversight committee, report, gathering & open to all Native Americans feedback & dialogue interaction event... and there should be at least some politicians/1 SCOTUS Justice visit to hear about issues & commit to solutions

So EXPANSION of the current Pow Wow in Albuquerque, NM to incorporate these ideas & include a NATIONAL ORGANIZATION OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE

I also believe as Chief Means did that the Native American People should choose their own leadership

Also I believe more land should be returned so that Native Americans can be fully independent & sustainable as fulfilled communities, the Native Americans People are really awesome at being this way naturally when not being handicapped at each success, or discovery by non Native Americans of coveted resources on Native American Land, so I would cede greater lands & ensure they could bring the Bison/Buffalo back, traditional fishing, hunting, gathering, planting & growing etc etc

If the 4 simple things above were adopted then I believe that the Native American peoples could experience a great re-birth... we are all impoverished when these people are diminished & we are all made prosperous when these people flourish:

GOD created EVERYONE & GOD does NOT make mistakes!
